There is plenty of accommodation within the Brighton area. It is busy in the summer, especially as people love the beach, pier, the Lanes shopping area, Brighton Pavilion and all the other excellent local facilities.

The University of Sussex are keeping 100 beds especially for us.

​University rooms with breakfast cost £72.60 per night. This includes VAT (tax). It is possible to stay on Sunday night with breakfast on Monday, but please note that the cafe is open early for the evening meal on Sunday night 17.00 - 19.00. The cafe is also open on Thursday 17th in the evening.
The University East Slope, Bodiam Residencies have single rooms for the conference.  These non-smoking bedrooms all have en-suite shower rooms. They are grouped in 'flats' with 5 to 8 single rooms.  Each flat has a shared communal kitchen, dining and living area with tea and coffee making facilities. A tea, coffee and sugar pack and a shampoo, soap, body lotion and shower gel pack are in each room. There is an iron and ironing board in the area, but there are no hairdryers. 
Electrical voltage for appliances in the UK is 230v. Three pin-plugs are used, so you may require an adapter.
Reception is open 24 hours. Guests will be given a key card and Breakfast voucher at check in. Breakfast is from 07.30 to 10.00 in the 'Eat Central' Cafe, ground floor, Bramber House. Check in is from 15.00, check out by 09.30. Luggage storage on Sunday will be in a Jubilee Conference Centre room until 18.00.
Requests for adapted/accessible rooms can be made when booking. 
The university have said they will do their best to give rooms close to each other for those that request it, but they can't guarantee it. Please use the Contact us form for this, listing the names together. We will collate the lists and send your wishes to the university.
Free wi-fi is available in each room, and a separate conference wi-fi password will be made available to you.

Car parking is free if staying in Bodiam Residences, but do register your vehicle at reception on the touch screen, or use the Parking Link here.  Please use the parking link if you are not staying in university accommodation but bringing your car.

The Co-op shop sells food and drinks, it also has an ATM outside and a post office. It is in the lobby of Bramber House. Those staying in the university accommodation will have breakfast served in the large ground floor cafeteria of Bramber House.

The Conference Centre is in Jubilee Building. Directly opposite the accommodation in Bodiam Building. Bramber House is on the right. This is where breakfast is served. The trees are bare in our photo taken in Autumn, but there is plenty of greenery in the summer!
